Sensitive Plants may be infested with spider mites, aphids, mealybugs, and whiteflies from time to time. The insects can result in distortion of growth, yellowing, sticky spots or leaves and visible spots. Regularly check the plant for signs of infestation, particularly under leaves and new growth. Small infestations may be treated by rinsing off leaves with water or by lightly wiping the leaves. If the infestation is difficult to manage, an appropriate insecticidal soap or horticultural treatment can help control the infestation without adding stress to the plant.
